Adapt IT develops the first SAP Oil & Gas fast start solution in Africa through the SAP Business All-in-One application

Adapt IT has added yet another SAP fast start solution to their existing Business-All-in-One solution offering, that removes the traditional complexity and lengthy timelines of SAP implementations.

Designed to work in mid-tier to large enterprises, and co-created with Adapt IT clients, the Oil-in-One application provides the insight and best practice support that companies in the Oil & Gas industry need to better understand risk, uncover opportunities, and make the right decisions to optimise their businesses.

“Traditionally companies have been burdened with costly and lengthy SAP projects where the total cost of an implementation and ownership did not easily stack up. Furthermore, having a clear scope and up-front costing has been a challenge, which deters decision makers from investing for growth,” says Adapt IT’s Head of SAP Energy Advisory, Francois van Heerden.

“These challenges have been addressed by Adapt IT’s deep industry knowledge in the Oil & Gas sector, coupled with our recently awarded SAP Oil & Gas Business All-in-One solution certificate, we provide the African market with the first Oil & Gas solution that offers mid-tier companies the benefits of operating their business on best practice,” says van Heerden.

“We have focused our services and solutions on the end-user as the ultimate goal, providing enhanced user experience and collaborative insights through our tailor-made user interface using SAP Fiori and SAP Personas, we truly provide a product that is visually appealing from C-Level to shop floor”

Adapt IT was recognised as the SAP Africa Partner of the Year in the “Managed Cloud as a Service” category in 2013.  The solution can therefore be fully hosted in a private or multi-tenant cloud, or on premise and offers existing large enterprises the ability to utilise standard SAP technology for implementation or review against current business and systems procedures.

“We recognise the need for fit for purpose business applications and process reengineering. By leveraging design-thinking and procedure-oriented system development we aspire to improve collaboration between demanding customers and sensitive supplier relationships.”

“By continuously maintaining and improving our portfolio of products, the benefit is ultimately enjoyed by our customers, whilst our team loves to deliver leading edge innovation through our solutions. As a Rapid-Deployment Solutions partner we have been offering various fast start solutions which include the energy and natural resources, supply chain, manufacturing and consumer products industries,” concludes van Heerden.

In its new financial year spanning from 1 July 2014 to 30 June 2015, Adapt IT has increased its research and development expenses by 73% to enhance further innovation and integration offerings. The company’s IT Labs research unit has a network of 2 locations in South Africa.
