Algeria Sees New Energy Minister

Algerian president Abdelaziz Bouteflika launched another cabinet shuffle which included a new energy minister for the country. Bouterfa Nourreddine was named to succeed Salah Khebri, who has only held the post since May of last year.

Nourreddine, prior to the appointment, was the head of the Algerian domestic natural gas company Sonelgaz.

The cabinet shuffle also included the finance minister and six other positions. Finance Minister Abderrahmane Benkhalfa was succeeded by Hadji Baba Ammi.
