Wentworth Resources is proceeding with its plans to drill an appraisal well of its Tembo discovery onshore Mozambique next year. The company could also conduct a seismic acquisition if necessary. Consideration for acquisition of additional seismic will be contingent upon the results of the appraisal well.
The company this year has continued work on reprocessing existing 2D vibroseis seismic data, completed Tembo-1 well analysis and the mapping and interpretation of all existing data with a view to selecting a well location in H1.
Wentworth is also continuing the process of securing a partner to participate in the appraisal program in advance of drilling the appraisal well
