Building Energy to Participate in the first South Africa – Italy Summit

Fabrizio Zago, CEO of the company, will take part in the Summit organized by The European House – Ambrosetti with a speech on the growth of the energy sector and foreign investments

Milan, September 26th 2014 – Building Energy, Italian independent producer of energy from renewable sources, will participate in the first “South Africa – Italy Summit” organized by The European House – Ambrosetti in Cape Town, South Africa, on October 2nd and 3rd 2014.

Building Energy will be represented by its CEO, Fabrizio Zago, with a speech during the session: “The Growth of the Energy Sector and Incentives for Foreign Investment”, scheduled on Friday, October 3rd at 8.30 AM.

The “South Africa – Italy Summit”, patronized by the Embassy of Italy to South Africa, the Embassy of South Africa to Italy, EXPO 2015 and the Black Business Council, and sponsored also by Building Energy, is an event that brings together the most influential South African and Italian business leaders, economists and governmental authorities to discuss about the strategic opportunities in the two countries, strengthen the relations between South Africa and Italy and increase investments and exchanges, in order to offer benefits to the respective economies.

Building Energy operates in Africa with its offices in Cape Town, from which the development and realization of more than 30 projects in South Africa and in the center of Africa are managed and coordinated. Its two main projects are in Kathu, in the Northern Cape, with an 81 MW solar park, the biggest on the continent, and in Mkuze, where the company was awarded the commission for the construction of the first and biggest biomass plant in Africa, with a capacity of 14 MW.
