Repsol is about to venture offshore Namibia, joining other notable firms offshore the southern Africa country. The company’s intentions were revealed in an investor presentation.

Repsol will be taking a 44% working interest in License 0010 from the operator Arcadia Petroleum.

Formal documentation and government approvals for the transfer of interest are not yet complete however, when the approval comes in the partnership line up will be Repsol 44%, Arcadia 41%, and Tower Resources with 15%.
