Angolan natural gas company, Sonagás, saw a profit for the first time in a year. According to Angolan newspaper Novo Jornal, the company posted a profit of $125 million for 2011.

The Novo Jornal said that Sonagas’ liabilities stood at $509 million at the end of 2011. The company saw an increase in sales of $695 million, the result of incorporating the butane gas processing and distribution business.

Sonagás handles the country’s natural gas reserves and is also involved in the Angola LNG project.
