African Petroleum Corp. Ltd. has requested that its shares be halted from trading on the National Stock Exchange of Australia (NSX). The request was in regards to its ordinary shares and was effective immediately.

The company requested the halt in trading pending the release of an announcement in relation to a capital raising. It also requested that the trading halt end on the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on July 23, or when an announcement in respect to the capital raising is released to the market.
