Mighty Servant 3 Sinks Offshore Angola

A semi-sub sunk off the coast of Angola on the morning of December 6. According to reports out of the country the semisub vessel, the Mighty Servant 3, began to careen and sank just after the offloading of a drilling rig belong to GlobalSantaFe, the GSF Aleutian Key.
The vessel is now resting at the bottom of the sea about one mile off the Angolan coast, not far from the entrance to the Port of Luanda. At the time the vessel began to sink, there were 21 crew members on board, but all were offloaded safely. There were no problems with the GSF Aleutian Key and it is off to its next drilling location.
