Join us in Durban on 25-27 September with over 200 senior experts from the global biofuels industry will convene at the International Convention Center (ICC) in Durban, South Africa for the first annual biofuels conference organized by Biofuels Conferences and presented by Delta-T Corporation and in partnership with the South African Canegrowers Association.

 

The event will cover agricultural issues affecting the sector, investment and funding in the biofuels market, an update on biofuels policies in many African countries and the European Union.  Panel discussions will include biodiesel, ethanol and biomass production, developments in the transportation industry and cutting-edge technologies in second generation biofuels.

 

The conference will provide an update of biofuels expansion and developments in Africa with updates and presentations by the Honourable Salvador Namburete Mozambique Minister of Energy,  Dr. Adrian Wynne, Director of Industrial Affairs, South African Canegrowers Association, and a international leading authority on the production of enzymes to hydrolyse plant material for cellulosic ethanol, Dr. Emile Van Zyl, Research Chairman at Department of Microbiology at Stellenbosch University. In addition, the conference will bring multiple viewpoints of the region’s future with leaders such as Justin Vermaak, CEO of  Verus Company Group in Mozambique; Fanie Brink, Managing Director of Biofuels Industry Development Ltd of South Africa; Abiodun Olaniyi, President of Centre for Jatropha Promotion and Biofuels in Nigeria; and the lead director for the Sudan Grand Plan for Sugar Production, Mulhim Eltayeb,  General Manager of Kenana Engineering in Sudan. 

An evening reception in the expo hall planned for Tuesday, 25 September will provide the delegates with a networking opportunity with experts and producers from Africa, Europe, Asia and the Americas.
