In Dana Petroleum’s operational update today, the company said that the Egyptian fields it acquired from Devon Energy have performed well since completion of the transaction.
Dana said that it plans further drilling and workover activity in the Dana-operated East Zeit field and significant development activity in each of the non-operated concessions. Production is expected to increase in 2008 as a result.
Specifically, drilling is expected to start on the KES-CC1 prospect in the West El-Burullus concession, offshore Nile Delta this month.
