Engen Lubes Distributor opens 11th Service Station

Thursday, April 10, 2014

Blessing Petroleum, the official lubricants distributor for Engen in Cameroon, has opened its 11th service station. This allows for Blessing to bring Engen’s automotive oils to the Western region of the country for the first time.

Blessing’s MD Paul Dengoue says Yapaki Service Station, situated in Dibombari west of Douala, has been open for two months. Dengoue says, “We started our business in 2010 and a year later we had opened four stations, over the past two years we have grown our network to 11 stations. There is no doubt that the petroleum industry in Cameroon is showing signs of growth.  With the brand new site we will meet an increasing need in the region for a full range of quality lubricants for passenger cars, trucks, transit vans and motorcycles.”

The Blessing MD went on to say that the company plans to open 20 service stations by the end of 2015.

In addition to automotive oils, Blessing Petroleum will also market Engen’s universal tractor oils, gear and transmission oils, industrial oils, marine oils, greases, and utility products such as brake fluids.

Kamil de Villiers, Engen Lubricants Manager (International Business Development), says the Blessing Petroleum retail expansion is in line with Engen lubricants growth plans in Cameroon.
