ENI Chief Meets with Mozambique

The head of ENI, Claudio Descalzi met with Mozambique’s President Emilio Guebuza while Guebuza was in Rome. During the meeting, Descalzi updated President Guebuza and his delegation with the progress of ongoing projects in Mozambique for the development of the Area 4, where ENI is the operator.

To date the Italian firm has discovered resources of approximately 85 Tcf of gas in place on Area 4.

The meeting between the two was also attended by Mozambique’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Oldemiro Baloi, the Agriculture Minister, José Pacheco, the Minister of Mineral Resources, Esperança Bias, and the Presidency Minister for Social Affairs, Feliciano Gundana.
