Expat Kidnapped and Beheaded in Egypt

Tuesday, September 1, 2015

Militants loyal to ISIS kidnapped an expat oil worker in Egypt on July 22. Tomislav Salopek, working with CGG Ardiseis, was abducted on his way to work in Cairo.

Salopek read a statement in a video posted by the militants, “They want to substitute me with the Muslim women arrested in Egyptian prisons,” he said. “This matter has to be achieved within 48 hours from now. If not, the soldiers from Wilayat Sinai will kill me.”

And true to their word, the savages did just that in August. The 30-year old Salopek was shown decapitated in a video posted on social media channels with his head placed on his back.
