HyperD Updates Fatala-1 Drilling

Hyperdynamics reported that it is nearing the completion of drilling on the initial portion of the Fatala-1 exploration well offshore Guinea. The company, and its partner Sapetro, have successfully set the 36-inch conductor casing into the seabed in 2,897 meters of water.

At the time of the Hyperdyanmics press release, the hole for the surface casing has been drilled 723 meters to a depth of 3,620 meters and the partners were preparing to set the 20-inch casing when a depth of 3,814 meters is reached.
