Woodside Petroleum Ltd. is bullish on LNG pointing to a 33% increase in profit for H1 2014.
Net profit rose to $1.11 billion in the first half of this year, up from $873 million in the same period the previous year. The company is reportedly looking to make a new acquisition, and more African assets could be on the horizon. In mid-July, the firm dove into Tanzania, gaining shares in the Lake Tanganyika South Block.
