Wednesday, August 9, 2017

Nigeria saw its crude production for July hit 2.06 million bpd, this includes condensates. According to the country’s Ministry of Petroleum, the numbers for July were up over June’s 2.05 bpd.

The Ministry said these totals are a sharp increase over the 1.6 million bpd of production the country saw a year ago when production facilities were hit by attacks from militants in the oil producing region of the Niger Delta.

Nigeria’s natural gas production also rose 7.81 Bcf/d in July from 6.74 Bcf/d in the month of June.

The chief executive of state-run NNPC, MaikantiBaru, announced in July that Nigeria was on track to hit its oil production target of 2.2 million bpd for this year.
