Oryx Energies inaugurated 16 new service stations in Mali on May 17. This brings its total number of stations from seven to 23, positioning the company as one of the leading retail brands in the country.

“We are pleased to be expanding our retail network in Mali,” commented Jean Claude Gandur, Chairman of parent company AOG, who was present for the occasion and is the instigator of Oryx Energies’ ambitious development plans.

“This enables us to bring high quality fuels and Oryx Energies lubricants to a growing number of consumers across the country, while creating valuable new jobs. Energy and jobs are essential to social and economic development,” he concluded.

The service stations are located in the capital, Bamako, as well as in Kayes, Koutiala, Ségou and Sikasso. They have created over 150 new jobs, plus approximately 200 additional jobs in the transport sector.
