Shell Lifts Crude from Zueitina

 Shell lifted its first cargo of crude from Libya’s Zueitina port in some time recently. The company lifted 600,000 barrels of oil from the port for the first time in five years, according to a Reuters report.

“Libya is a significant resource holder and Shell International Trading and Shipping Company Ltd (STASCO) has a history marketing Libyan crudes,” the Reuters report cited a Shell spokesperson as saying. “We welcome new business opportunities with Libya’s National Oil Corporation (NOC). However, we don’t comment on specific trading deals,” the spokesperson added
