During the Egypt Economic Development Conference that took place in Sharm El Sheikh, Chile’s ambassador to Egypt, Jose M. De la Cruz, told Reuters that the country’s state-run firm ENAP would build a 90-km oil pipeline in the North African country’s Western Desert.
According to De la Cruz, ENAP’s subsidiary in Egypt, Sipetrol, will invest $30 million in building the pipeline that will carry oil from its Western Desert discovery to sell to the Egyptian government.
