Sirius Contracts COSL Power Jack Up

Sirius Petroleum, following the analysis of the bathymetry results from the Seabed Survey, has contracted COSL Drilling Pan-Pacific’s COSL Power jack up rig for use in a drilling program in Nigeria. The rig will be utilized on Sirius’ Ororo field in its upcoming drilling campaign.

COSL Power is a modern high-specification jack-up rig which is an ABS A1 Self Elevating Drilling Unit capable of drilling in water depths of 375 ft.

In April the company signed an OSV contract with Tidewater Marine International an OSV for its multi-well campaign in Nigeria.
