Tunisia Acreage Available

Monday, November 17, 2014

An opportunity to participate in the appraisal and potential development of the Sidi Toui discovery on the Ksar Hadada Permit onshore southeastern Tunisia has become available. A negotiable interest is available through entire or partial funding of the planned seismic and drilling program which is estimated to cost around $17 million gross.

An independent CPR undertaken reflects 57 million barrels of oil in reserves in the Ordovician Play. There is also an exploration upside of 210 million barrels of oil (unrisked recoverable resources) in the Silurian Acacus Play, with further potential upside of 750 million barrels in the Silurian Tanezzuft shale oil play.

Envoi is marketing the acreage on behalf of Independent Resources and is currently preparing its more detailed synopsis on the opportunity which will be made available as soon as it is completed. In the meantime, access to the key data on this opportunity can be made available in the online data room after execution of a Confidentiality Agreement (CA).

Serious parties will subsequently be invited for a presentation and full data review in Independent Resources’ London office.
