Shell’s workers in Gabon have launched an “unlimited” strike action at all of the firm’s operations in the West African country. The strike action follows news that Shell is looking to sell off its Gabonese assets.
Workers have been worried that the sale will result in layoffs or being moved to different locations.
It is unclear as to whether the workers’ strike has affected oil production.
