Impact Oil and Gas saw the start of a 3D seismic survey offshore Namibia on Block 2913B. The survey will cover approximately 1,900 sq km of data, targeting the highly material Aptian basin floor fan reservoir.
The survey is being acquired by PGS using its GeoStreamer® technology. The vessel being utilized for the shoot is the M/V Ramform Sterling.
Impact expects the acquisition to be complete near the end of December. Data processing and interpretation on the 3D seismic will begin once the survey is completed, early next year.
