Aker Scores Erha North Umbilicals Job

Aker Solutions won a contract from ExxonMobil in Nigeria to supply the subsea umbilicals for the Erha North phase 2 development. Erha North Phase 2 development is an extension of the existing Erha subsea system and infrastructure.

Aker Solutions' scope of work includes the delivery of 2 dynamic and 2 static steel tube umbilicals, at a total length of 16.5 km. The umbilicals will be delivered in 2014.

The umbilicals will be designed, engineered and manufactured at Aker Solutions' facility in Mobile, Alabama, in the US, supported by project management and engineering by a local team in Lagos, Nigeria.
