In Algeria Anadarko saw its gross production for Q2 average approximately 298,000 bpd. The company also saw a milestone during the quarter with 1.7 billion barrels cumulative gross production from the Hassi Berkine South (HBNS) and Ourhoud facilities being achieved.
On Anadarko’s El Merk development that came onstream earlier this year, the first oil train continued to increase production throughout Q2. the company says that the second
oil train is in the process of being commissioned.
El Merk remains on schedule to ramp toward a net rate of approximately 30,000 bpd around the end of the 2013.
