Another Pipeline Goes Boom in Niger Delta

Nigeria’s Niger Delta saw another installation bombed, this one belonging to state-run NPDC. Reports have gunmen attacking a gas pipeline belonging to NPDC in the Owrode community in Delta State on August 18.

The gas pipeline supplies the Delta Steel Company with gas.

President General of Owhrode community, Michael Odjo, said the pipeline was the only oil facility in their area and that they reported the matter to the Ovwian/Aladja Police station.
