CLOV Brings Total Closer to Production Goals

Total’s production in Angola has reached a new high with the addition the startup of a new development on Block 17, the CLOV. The addition of the CLOV Block 17 production is now at 700,000 bpd. The block is now home to four developments; the Girassol, the Dalia, the Pazflor, and now the CLOV.

The CLOV field complex has proven and probable reserves of 500 million barrels and production capacity of 160,00 bpd, producing from four fields of Cravo, Lirio, Orquidea, and Violeta at water depths ranging from 3,600 ft to 4,593 ft.

Total’s latest development brings it closer to its production goal of 3 million bpd by 2017.

Total operates the block with a 40% interest and is partnered with Statoil, ExxonMobil, and BP.
