According to the Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum, ENPPI (Engineering for the Petroleum and Process Industries) has been awarded several contracts by Venezuela’s PdVSA. The company will be working on three projects in the natural gas production and exploitation in the petrochemicals industry. Total value of the contracts is expected to net ENPPI an estimated $251 million over the 24-month duration of the projects.
The company’s work under the contract includes the preliminary studies, detailed engineering works, buying and supplying the equipment services, and construction works.
The projects include implementing two stations; the first for processing and controlling natural gas specifications as a primary stage with a production capacity of 600 Mmcf per day. The second is for the extraction of natural gas derivatives for production. In addition, the company will construct another new station for extracting and separating natural gas derivatives with a capacity of 50,000 bpd of natural gas liquids.
