ExxonMobil Could Team with QP in Mozambican Buy

More talk on ExxonMobil’s potential buy into Mozambique’s discovered offshore natural gas resources has the US firm teaming up with Qatar Petroleum (QP). A Bloomberg report says the two firms will evaluate Anadrako Petroleum and ENI’s Offshore Area 1 and Offshore Area 4 gas fields.

A farm-in by ExxonMobil and QP would lessen the burden of development costs for the partners on whichever block the two invest in.
