Fairmount Tug Tows Scarabeo 6 Out of Egypt

Fairmount Marine’s tug Fairmount Expedition has delivered the semisubmersible drilling rig Scarabeo 6 safely to Rotterdam for her dry-dock period at shipyard Keppel-Verolme.

The Scarabeo 6, owned by Italian offshore company Saipem, was towed from offshore Egypt towards Rotterdam over a distance of 3,290 miles.

For this job Fairmount Expedition was contracted by EDT Offshore Egypt.
