Engineering firm Furmanite is expanding its West African operation and has appointed a general manager to manage and develop business in the region. Furmanite’s expansion into West Africa is geared toward helping operators, primarily in the oil and gas industry, keep their assets earning and minimize downtime.
Services the company will be providing include hot tapping and line stopping, on-line pressure leak sealing, on-site machining, composite repair, Trevitest on-line valve testing, and valve repair. These will be delivered to the upstream and downstream petroleum industry and will also be valuable to other industries.
Furmanite West Africa Ltd. was incorporated in Nigeria earlier this year and is headed up by Bulus Sambo.
