Belmet 7, a JV between Subsea 7 and Ghana’s Belmet, completed the gas export manifold for Tullow Oil. The export manifold was loaded onshore at the Takoradi Port bound for the Jubilee and TEN oil fields offshore Ghana.
The equipment was manufactured by Belmet 7 at the Takoradi Port and took an estimated eight months to complete. Ghanaian tradesman made up 95% of the workforce needed to complete the manifold.
