Production at Libya’s Sharara and El Feel oil fields could resume in the coming days, giving the country’s flow totals a boost, according to National Oil Corp (NOC).
News of a potential restart of the two oil fields follows a deal brokered between the government and protesters who have been blockading the pipelines at both fields.
While there is no guarantee that production will restart, if it does Libya could add an estimated 365,000 bpd of crude to its production totals from the two fields combined.
