Libya’s oil production has risen to more than 1 million bpd, a Libyan oil industry source was quoted in a Reuters report. This is the first time the North African country has seen production over 1 million bpd since 2013.
NOC, Libya’s state-run oil and gas firm, beat its production target of 1 million bpd by the end of July by 12,000 bpd and one month early. The country, as of June 30, was producing at a rate of 1.012 million bpd.
Running up on the June 30 production totals, the country was seeing fluctuations in flows due to technical and power generation problems.
