LUFKIN OILFIELD PRODUCTS GROUP ANNOUNCES SALES MANAGEMENT PROMOTIONS

PRESS RELEASE–Lufkin, TX, June 2006 — Larry Hoes, vice president and general manager of Lufkin Industries, Inc. Oilfield Products Group, has appointed Don Crow general sales manager for pumping unit products. Don joined Lufkin in 1986 after graduating from TexasA&MUniversity with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He has served the company in numerous positions, most recently as the company’s eastern hemisphere sales manager.
 
Crow announced the promotion of Dewayne Atwell, previously U.S. sales manager, to eastern hemisphere sales manager. Dewayne joined Lufkin in 1997 having spent twelve years with OXY USA, Inc. after receiving a BBA degree from EastCentralOklahomaStateUniversity.
 
Additionally, David Freeze, senior sales representative in Bakersfield, California, will relocate to the company’s sales offices in Houston, Texas and will succeed Atwell as U.S. sales manager. David joined Lufkin in 1978 and has held several sales and marketing positions for the company in Lufkin, Texas; Casper, Wyoming; Denver, Colorado; and Bakersfield. David holds a BA degree from SamHoustonStateUniversity.
