Petrofac/Taleveras Sign MoU with NPDC

Petrofac and its partner Taleveras Energy Resources signed a five-year MoU with Nigeria’s state-run NPDC. Under the MoU the parties will explore various options to support NPDC’s aims to further build its indigenous capacity and technical capabilities and that of its affiliates.

The agreement was reached as part of Nigeria’s ongoing promotion of local content development. Petrofac added that, as a result of this collaboration, it and Taleveras have agreed with NPDC to provide financial and technical support as well as capacity for the further development of NPDC’s OML119 offshore block.

On its own over the past few years, Taleveras has signed a number of deals around West Africa giving it access to some promising acreage.
