Hyperdynamics Receives Presidential Invitation to Guinea

Company to Give Update on Its Exploration Program
HOUSTON–Hyperdynamics Corporation (AMEX:HDY – News) announced today that the company led by the Chief Executive, Kent Watts, is now in Conakry for planned meetings with Guinea’s Chief of State, President Lansana Conté. Traveling with Mr. Watts is former US Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs, Mr. Herman Cohen, and Mr. Jim Spear, Vice President for Exploration and Production. Already in Guinea is the company’s Vice-President of Guinea affairs, Mr. Famarou Kourouma.
Meetings and presentations concerning the company’s current exploration program are scheduled today with President Conté and cabinet members, the President of the National Assembly, Mr. Aboubacar Somparé, members of the National Assembly, various ministers within the Guinea government, and US Ambassador Phillip Carter, III.
In September, a presidential delegation led by Secretary General, Mr. Sam Soumah, visited the company at its corporate offices. The visit marked a new era of solidarity and cooperation and ended with the Secretary General returning to Guinea to report to the President. As a further result, a gracious letter of solidarity was received which invited Mr. Watts and company to go to Conakry to make presentations of the company’s current exploration program to the President and all levels of government.
