INTERMOOR RECEIVES ISO 9001:2000 CERTIFICATION
HOUSTON (October 23) – InterMoor Inc., an Acteon company, has received its ISO 9001:2000 certification for its three facilities in Amelia, LA, Fourchon, LA and Houston, TX.
This certifies InterMoor to perform a scope of work including engineering, design, fabrication, installation and servicing of mooring equipment and subsea structures.
“We are proud of this certification,” said Tom Fulton, InterMoor President. “InterMoor primarily decided on obtaining ISO certification to upgrade our processes from the bottom up to improve quality and efficiency within the company, not to simply achieve certification. Meeting the requirements of this certification acknowledges our commitment to customer satisfaction and quality assurance.”
To receive a new ISO 9001:2000 certification an organization must develop, maintain and continually improve a quality management system to ensure that the organization consistently provides a product that meets customer and applicable regulatory requirements with the aim to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective implementation of the system.
