Sasol Exiting Two Mozambican Blocks

Sasol has decided to end its exploration efforts in Mozambique on Blocks 16 and 19. According to a Macauhub report, the drilling campaigns carried out by Sasol did not lead to any commercially exploitable reserves.

ENH, Sasol’s partner on the blocks, said that the exploration program on both blocks had been extensive.

The two blocks are in the region of the Pande/Temane natural gas finds and contain some technical discoveries of natural gas at Njika-1 and Njika-2.
