SGS in Nigeria received the African Order of Merit in Testing and Pipeline Welding Inspection 2011 from the Institute for Government Research and Leadership Technology. The award came in recognition of the company’s outstanding work and excellent service delivery on June 25.
As an independent third-party company, SGS was selected from among many companies as the winner of the African Order of Merit in Testing and Pipeline Welding Inspection 2011 by the Institute for Government Research and Leadership Technology, a registered project initiative of the African Foundation approved by Nigeria's Federal Ministry of Education.
On June 25, 2011, SGS was officially presented with the African Order of Merit during a prestigious ceremony in the Nicon Luxury Hotel in Abuja, Nigeria, in recognition of SGS's outstanding work and excellent service delivery in testing and pipeline welding inspection.
The African Order of Merit is an esteemed recognition of companies which deliver particularly excellent services in a variety of sectors, and thus contribute to the development of the Nigerian economy.
