Sirius Gets Greenlight for Three Wells in Nigeria

Sirius Petroleum saw Nigeria’s Ministry of Enviroment approve its EIA for the Ororo Field License on OML 95. The company submitted the EIA for approval in late-April in accordance with the DPR’s guidelines and regulations.

The greenlight from the Ministry of Environment covers the drilling of three wells on the Ororo Field and the installation of wellhead platforms.

Sirius said that in accordance with standard conditions it will maintain the required environmental management plan and environmental audits.
