Sonatrach Gives its Backing to NAPEC

3 March 2016, Algiers – Petroleum Industry Communication is pleased to announce that Sonatrach – Algeria’s state and gas company – will be supporting the 6^th North Africa Petroleum Exhibition and Conferences (NAPEC), taking place in Algiers from 8 to 11 March 2016.

One day of NAPEC (10 March) will be devoted to presentations from Sonatrach, with senior speakers from the company covering a variety of topics including: petroleum at a time of financial and economic change, Sonatrach’s R&D activities, LNG in Algeria and Sonatrach’s programme to cut greenhouse gas emissions. Speakers include:

Naceur Lakhdar, Director of LPG separation complex GP2.Z;
Draoui Soraya, Accounting & Finance Manager, Corporate Finance Department;
Dih Dalila, HSE Department;
Mohamed Khodja, Research Director, R&D Department.

Former Sonatrach representatives will also be involved with numerous other sessions throughout the conference, and Sonatrach will also participate in the exhibition that will be held in parallel to the conference.

Given Sonatrach’s significant presence at NAPEC, there will be many opportunities for attendees to network with representatives of the company.

The 6^th edition of NAPEC, to be held at the prestigious Hilton Hotel in Algiers from 8 to 11 March 2016, is expected to draw 25,000 visitors from over 30 countries. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from senior speakers on the current challenges and opportunities facing both operators and suppliers in North Africa, visit an exhibition showcasing the latest products, services and technologies, and enjoy many opportunities to develop new professional relationships, and strengthen existing ones.
