Sonatrach, in its bid to maximize efficiency and performance at its facilities, plans to explore partnerships with international oil service providers at the upcoming North Africa Petroleum Exhibition & Conference (NAPEC). The Algerian state-run firm has seen an expansion in output following years of energy stagnation, helped in part by increased production at existing fields through the introduction of new recovery techniques, and at new fields.
The company is currently working on further enhancing its production capacity and improving its performance to consolidate gains from its boost in production in October 2016. Gains were achieved due to the commissioning of new fields such as Bir M’sana, Bir Sbaa, Garet El Befinet, and Hassi Moumene.
