Tank Fire and Spill at Qua Iboe Terminal

ExxonMobil experienced a tank fire and oil spill at its Qua Iboe Terminal in Nigeria over the weekend. The company said that the fire and spill were caused by thunderstorms.

Offshore production and loading of oil are continuing at the site, but around 600,000 barrels of crude were reportedly lost due to the incident.
