ExxonMobil has awarded Vetco Gray a major contract to supply subsea systems for its Mondo field offshore Angola, which is phase one of its deepwater Kizomba C project. Vetco Gray will be responsible for the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of 17 subsea trees, five manifolds, topside and subsea control systems and flowline connection systems for the Mondo Field.

David Lamont, President, Vetco Gray Eastern Region and Subsea Production Systems, said: "This award is a further demonstration of Vetco Gray’s reputation as a leader in subsea production systems. We look forward to working with ExxonMobil to deliver this world-class project on time and on budget."

Vetco Gray facilities in Houston, USA, Aberdeen and Nailsea in the UK; Billingstad, Norway; and Luanda, Angola, are involved in the contract that calls for initial fast-track deliveries starting later this year.
