Edison on Hunt for Hapy Adventure Partner

Italian firm Edison is in search of a partner for its North East Hapy concession offshore Egypt. The search for partner comes as the firm looks to begin drilling its first deepwater well on the concession.

Edison’s exploration and production agreement with the government of Egypt calls for the company to invest more than $86 million and requires seismic to be acquired and two wells drilled.

The company has already acquired seismic on the concession.

In addition to the partner hunt, Edison expects to bring two additional wells online from its Abu Qir Concession in July.
