Oyo-8 Resumes Production

Erin Energy saw the Island Constructor light well intervention (LWI) vessel successfully complete work on the Oyo-8 well offshore Nigeria. Production from the Oyo-8 has now resumed; the well had been shut in prior to the intervention.

The vessel performed LWI service on the Oyo-8 well, to open the sub-surface controlled sub-surface safety valve (SCSSV), which failed to re-open following a planned production curtailment in the Oyo field.

Erin will now begin a ramp up of production from the well to pre shut-in levels of approximately 7,000 bpd of oil.
