Touchstone to Take on Rembue Field

Gabon Oil Company (GOC), the Gabonese state-run oil and gas firm, and Canadian oil company Touchstone Exploration signed an agreement that will have the Canadian firm taking over the Rembue oil field, according to media reports.

Touchstone will hold an 80% stake in the Rembue and operatorship.

The oil field has been shut in since 2014. Once it is up and running again it is expected to produce several thousand barrels per day of crude.
