Afren Reviewing Okoro Plans

Afren revealed in its operational update that it is reviewing its plan for the Okoro Further Field Development (FFD), offshore Nigeria.

The partners on the project, Afren and Amni, are currently in discussions on how to manage the Okoro FFD plan in line with the current low oil price environment with a view to re-engineering the forward work program.The development is aimed at developing new reservoirs on the Okoro field.

The FDP for this development was approved by Nigeria’s DPR in 2014 and the FID was taken for the development in Q3 2014.
