African Petroleum Corp. reported on measures taken by the firm in West Africa in regards to the recent Ebola outbreak. Due to the recent Ebola outbreak the company has implemented precautionary measures to ensure the health and safety of its staff as the outbreak affects two of the four countries it operate in.
While the company does not think the outbreak will affect its drilling obligations in late-2015, it is working with the national oil companies, host government officials, and NGOs to see how strategic social investments can be utilized to help them combat Ebola.
